Charge & Fee for Each Visa Application with Purposes and Qualified
We hereby show you what kind of visa application which we can apply to the immigration services bureau on behalf of people from overseas.
Additionally, we indicate you required charge & fee to us for each application.
Our fees are as of August 31st, 2022.
Please keep in mind that our fees in the followings are basically based on applying via internets, except for permanent residence application.
I. APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILITY「在留資格認定証明書交付申請」
A. Who should apply for?
A foreigner who is living overseas and intending to move into Japan. Also if a foreigner who is living in Japan with a visa want to call its family to live together in Japan, she or he needs to apply for a certificate of eligibility.
B. What is a certificate of eligibility?
A certificate of eligibility is not a certificate of a visa, while it make a foreigner be able to obtain a visa from an embassy or a consulate general of Japan in its home country easily.

: 80,000. JPY - excluding sales tax
: 95,000. JPY - excluding sales tax for "Business Manager" Visa
Fee to Us, if impossible to apply via the internet.
: 85,000. JPY - excluding sales tax
: 105,000. JPY - excluding sales tax for "Business Manager" Visa
: 150,000. JPY - excluding sales tax per one employing company or organization,
if multiple applicants apply, 30,000. JPY excluding sales tax shall be added per
applicant from the second applicant, for "Specified Skilled Worker" Visa
It is necesssary to pay 150,000.JPY to us excluding sales tax, if the applicant apply for "Program to Increase Foreign Entrepreneurs" prepared by the Tokyo metropolitan government before applying for a certificate of eligibility on a "Business Manager" visa.
II. APPLICATION FOR CHANGE OF STATUS OF RESIDENCE「在留資格変更許可申請」
A. Who should apply for?
A foreigner who is living in Japan under a certain status or visa, and who is necessary or intending to change its status. For example, to change its job, to start working, to have married with a Japanese or a permanent resident and such and such.

: 4,000. JPY, if permitted
Fee to Us
: 80,000. JPY - excluding sales tax
: 95,000. JPY - excluding sales tax for "Business Manager" Visa)
Fee to Us, if impossible to apply via internets or to receive the result by postal mail.
: 95,000. JPY - including sales tax
: 115,000. JPY - including sales tax for "Business Manager" Visa
: 150,000. JPY - excluding sales tax per one employing company or organization,
if multiple applicants apply, 30,000. JPY excluding sales tax shall be added per
applicant from the second applicant, for "Specified Skilled Worker" Visa
III. APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF PERIOD OF STAY「在留期間更新許可申請」
A. Who should apply for?
A foreigner who is living in Japan under a certain status or visa, and is necessary or intending to continue to live in Japan beyond the maturity of its visa.
B. When is it able to apply for extension?
It is able to apply for extension of its visa from 3 months before the maturity of the visa.

Fee to Us
: 60,000. JPY excluding sales tax, in a case that in case that it is thought to be not necessary to submit additional documents except for the regulatory required documents.
: 80,000. JPY- excluding sales tax, in a case that in case that it is thought to be necessary to submit additional documents except for the regulatory required documents.
Fee to Us, if it is impossible to apply via the internet or to receive the result by postal mail.
: 75,000. JPY - excluding sales tax, in a case that in case that it is thought to be not necessary to submit additional documents except for the regulatory required documents.
: 95,000. JPY - excluding sales tax, in a case that in case that it is thought to be necessary to submit additional documents except for the regulatory required documents.
: 100,000. JPY - excluding sales tax per one employing company or organization,
if multiple applicants apply, 20,000. JPY excluding sales tax shall be added per
applicant from the second applicant, for "Specified Skilled Worker" Visa
IV. APPLICATION FOR PERMISSION TO ACQUIRE STATUS OF RESIDENCE「在留資格取得許可申請」
A. Who should apply for?
A new born baby in Japan who has no citizenship of Japan or a foreigner who live in Japan and has lost its citizenship of Japan can apply for acquiring status of residence.
B. Until when is it necessary to apply for?
A new born baby needs to apply until 30 days have passed since its birth.
A foreigner who has lost its Japanese citizenship needs to apply until 30 days have passed since its lost of the Japanese citizenship.

V. APPLICATION FOR MERMANENT RESIDENCE「永住許可申請」
A. Who can apply for?
A foreigner who live in Japan under a certain status of residence other than "permanent resident" can apply for permanent residence.
A new born baby of a permanent resident in Japan can apply for permanent residence.
B. Charge & Fee

: None, if permitted as obtaining
: 8,000. JPY, if permitted as changing

: 115,000. JPY - excluding sales tax
VI. APPLICATION FOR RE-ENTRY PERMIT「再入国許可申請」
A. Who should apply for?
A foreigner under a certain status who is leaving japan with intention to return to Japan.
B. Who can be exempted from applying?
A foreigner under a certain status who is leaving japan with intention to return to Japan within 1 year or before the maturity of its stay.
C. Charge & Fee
Charge to the immigration services bureau
: 3,000. JPY for one time re-entry, if permitted
: 6,000. JPY for multiple time re-entry, if approved
Fee to Us
: 30,000. JPY - excluding sales tax
* The fee to us shall be the same whether the application is files via the internet or by attending the regional immigration services bureau, as it is necesssary to go to the regional immigration bureau when receiving the result.
VII. APPLICATION FOR PERMISSION TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITY OTHER THAN THAT PERMITTED UNDER THE STATUS OF RESIDENCE PREVIOUSLY GRANTED「資格外活動許可申請」
A. Who needs to apply for?
A foreigner under a certain visa other than a resident visa like a spouse visa who is intending or needs to get a job or to start business unless the job or the business is permitted with the current visa.
B. Is it required to apply for this permission if a foreigner under a student visa is willing to work as a part time worker?
That's right, while there is a restriction on a part time job by a foreigner under a student visa that she or he can work for twenty eight hours per week except for vacation periods.

VIII. APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORIZED EMPLOYMENT「就労資格証明書交付申請」
A. When is it necessary to get this certificate?
For example, when an applied future employer requires its foreign applicant to show that the applicant is permitted to work for the applied job.
B. Who can apply for?
A foreigner who has a working visa or a resident visa such as a permanent resident visa, a spouse visa or a long term resident visa can apply for this certificate.
